Choosing a date range

By the end of this article, you can run any report over the exact date range you need.

Preset ranges

Every report, Sales Summary, By Item, By Employee and By Category, shares the same set of date-range buttons above it: Today, Yesterday, This week, This month, and Custom. Switching a preset immediately reruns whichever report tab is open.

This week runs from the most recent Sunday through now. This month runs from the first of the current month through now.

Custom range

Click Custom, then set a start and end date in the two date fields that appear. The report reruns using that range.

Switching report types keeps your range

Changing between Sales Summary, By Item, By Employee and By Category does not reset the date range you have selected; it reruns the newly chosen report over the same range.
