Using Quick Sale

Ring up a simple cash-in-hand sale in one step, without building a cart first.

By the end of this article, you have completed a sale using Quick Sale instead of the normal cart flow.

When to use it

Quick Sale is for a straightforward transaction where you already know the total and do not need to track individual items, such as a simple cash-in-hand sale.

Ring it up

Quick Sale only appears when the cart is empty.

  1. On the register screen, with an empty cart, click Quick Sale.
  2. Enter the Amount.
  3. Click Charge.

This adds a single line to the cart named “Quick Sale” for that amount and takes you straight to the payment window, the same one used for any other sale, where you choose Cash, Card or Store Credit and complete the charge.

Canceling

If you open Quick Sale and change your mind, click Cancel next to the amount field. Nothing is charged until you complete the payment step regardless.
